Information on the processing of personal data | English version | October 28, 2026

This notice, provided pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR), explains how personal data is processed when people visit www.mastervoicemethod.com or contact Master Voice Method®, the singing education method developed by Alessandro Luciano.

1. Data Controller

Alessandro Luciano – Master Voice Method®

00100 Rome (RM), Italy

Email: info@mastervoicemethod.com

Website: www.mastervoicemethod.com

For enquiries concerning the protection of personal data, please write to the email address above.

2. Personal data that may be processed

Technical browsing data. When the website is accessed, its systems and hosting service may process information needed to operate the connection and website, such as IP addresses, request dates and times, requested pages, technical browser identifiers, and diagnostic or security information. Such data is not collected through a user registration system.

Data provided voluntarily. If a person sends an email to the address provided or uses the WhatsApp link, the information processed may include their name, contact details, message contents and any information they choose to share, solely to handle the communication and, where requested, provide information about singing lessons.

The website does not provide user accounts, user registration, contact forms or an online booking calendar.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Website operation, maintenance and security: the Controller’s legitimate interest in providing a reliable and secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Responding to enquiries and arranging any lessons: taking steps requested by the data subject before entering into a contract or performing a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Complying with legal obligations that may apply to established professional relationships: compliance with a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
  • Any non-essential tracking technologies, if implemented: the user’s consent where legally required (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

The website does not use data received to send newsletters or automated marketing communications. If such activities are introduced in the future, an appropriate notice and, where necessary, separate consent will be provided.

4. Hosting, recipients and external communications

The website is hosted using Aruba services. To deliver and secure the service, the hosting provider may process technical data under the applicable contractual arrangements and instructions. Email service providers and website technical support providers may also process personal data to the extent necessary, according to their respective data protection roles.

Links to WhatsApp or other external services direct users to third-party platforms. When users decide to use these platforms, the relevant providers may process data according to their own privacy notices. The Controller uses the messages received to respond to enquiries. Personal data is not sold or publicly disclosed for commercial purposes.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

The website may use technical cookies necessary for its operation and security. Whether analytics cookies, third-party cookies or other tracking technologies are used depends on the features and services actually enabled on the website.

Detailed information on cookie categories, purposes, providers, lifetimes and preference-management options will be set out in the website’s Cookie Policy, managed through a dedicated WordPress plugin. Where consent is required for a technology, it will only be activated after a valid user choice. Strictly necessary technical cookies do not require prior consent.

6. Data retention

The website does not create databases of registered users and does not store messages through contact forms. Technical browsing data may nevertheless be recorded in logs by the Aruba hosting service and retained for the period determined by the service configuration and by website operation, security and system protection needs, subject to applicable law.

Messages received by email or WhatsApp are kept for as long as needed to respond to enquiries and manage any professional relationship; they are then deleted when no longer necessary, subject to record-keeping needs, legal obligations or the protection of legal rights. Cookie retention periods are described in the Cookie Policy.

7. Transfers outside the EEA

Voluntary use of external services, such as WhatsApp, or other technology providers may involve processing of personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where a transfer is carried out by the Controller or providers acting on the Controller’s behalf, the relevant requirements and safeguards under Chapter V of the GDPR apply, where appropriate.

8. Data subject rights

Where provided for by the GDPR, data subjects may request access to their personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability, and may object to certain types of processing. Where processing is based on consent, consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

To exercise these rights, please email info@mastervoicemethod.com. Data subjects may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) at www.garanteprivacy.it.

9. Whether providing data is mandatory

The processing of technically necessary data is inherent in browsing the website. Providing data by email or WhatsApp is voluntary; however, without the necessary information, it may not be possible to respond to an enquiry.

10. Automated decisions and updates

The website does not involve decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that produce legal or similarly significant effects on users. This notice may be updated if the website, its services or applicable laws change. The current version will be published on the website with its latest update date.
